Last Sunday, during the Arabian race meeting in Morocco, AL NOURY and SALMA NOUR GRINE gave their sire NO RISK AL MAURY two more Group victories.
The four-year-old filly SALMA NOUR GRINE continues to impress. Trained by Jamal Bajjou and ridden by Abderrahim Faddoul, and carrying the colours of her owner-breeder, Mr Karimine, she has triumphed in the Grand Prix de sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI, Group 3 PA over 2100 m at Khemisset. She became the first filly to win this prestigious race and she did it in record time. She took the lead after the last turn and won by eight lengths.
SALMA NOUR GRINE started her racing career at three and won five races in Morocco before going to France where she was placed in several Group races. Back in Morocco, she is unbeaten in 2020 and now the highest rated racehorse trained in the country, with a rating of 51.
Trained by Eric Legrix and ridden by Zouhair Madihi, AL NOURY, 4yo, won the Grand Prix de S.A.R le Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan, Group 3 PA over 1900 m. It is his seventh career victory in only eleven starts. He showed great promise at three, with three wins, including a Listed victory, and one second place in Morroco as well as a fifth place in a competitive Group 1 race in France.
After this Group success, AL NOURY is now the second highest Arabian racehorse in Morocco, with a rating of 49, just behind SALMA NOUR GRINE.
